LOGAN REDDiNG

Logan is the owner of Society Fitness. She is a Tallahassee local and has been dedicated to fitness for 6+ years. She is committed to building a community centered around feeling good and empowering others. Logan believes that by mixing the power of movement and music, anyone can transform their body and mind.

What are you doing when you are not teaching? Live music when I can, St Teresa Beach weekends, being with friends and family.

EMiLY TOKARZ

Emily moved to Tallahassee in 2020 and is a new mom of her son, Bo. Emily has worked in the fitness industry for 5+ years and brings the energy to each and every class! Her goal is to bring out everyone’s best self as we sweat together and reach new goals.

What is your favorite part about teaching? The People!!! I love getting to use my creative side when it comes to designing a class, but the people are what make teaching so great!

What is your go to book? I don’t read unless it is childrens books to my son.

What are you doing when you are not teaching? Being a mom, dog mom, and wife. Doing anything outdoors.

EMiLY LOCKARD

Emily is a life long lover of Tallahassee and of fitness. As a volleyball player since she was a young child, she has always had a love for team sports, getting sweaty, and encouraging others. Her goal as a fitness instructor is for her clients to leave feeling happier and stronger than when they walk in the door.

What is your favorite part about teaching? I have been an athlete my whole life and getting enforphins, in a team environment, is truly my therapy. I love encouraging other to reach their full potential and learning how to truly love their body.

What is playing in your head phones right now? Harry, always Harry Styles. But, my five year old is always overriding me with Taylor Swift

What’s your go to book? The Nightingale. I could read that novel once a year and not get tired of it.

Whats your favorite quote? “Do it with a glad heart” - my dad

What are you doing when you are not teaching? I work full time at holy comforter Episcopal School planning our events, like the Gala and fundraising. When I am not at HCES or at Society Fitness, I am hanging with my fam.

JENNY DEASE

Jenny is a native of Tallahassee and is a hairstylist at Salon IQ. She has been a practicing yogi for 23 years and completed the 200 YTT at Rising Om Yoga and Yoga Den in 2023. Her strong, dynamic flows help cultivate body awareness, empower others to embrace their unique gifts, and give students a deep understanding of their yoga practice.

What is your favorite part about teaching? To help people to learn how to use yoga to reduce stress, improve their overall wellbeing, and develop a deeper connection to their body and mind

What’s your go to book? Old Path White Clouds by Thich Nhat Hanh.

Whats your favorite quote? “What you think, you become. What you feel, you attract. What you imagine, you create.”

What are you doing when you are not teaching? I’m spending time with my husband and our cat, working doing lots of hair at IQ, any activity outside with water and sunshine, planning my next yofa retreat!

SAM TYLER

Sam is a North Florida native and has lived in Tallahassee for 17 years. Sam began her wellness journey by challenging herself with outdoor adventures as a way to “unplug.” Sam believes in the mind-body connection and that the work you put in at the studio or on the trail translates profoundly into every day life. Sam is a RYT-200 and completed YTT at Many Rivers Yoga in 2021.

What is your favorite part about teaching? When I find something that has positively impacted my life, my first instinct is to share it with others. I love introducing people to something new, whether it be a whole new modality for them or just a new posture. I love witnessing that growth and joy when they push past their comfort zone into a place where they are really proud of what they have accomplished.

What’s your go to book? I’ve never dog-eared so many pages as I have in Time Will Tell by Courtney Peppernell.

What are you doing when you are not teaching? When I am not teaching or at work, I am usually porch sittin’, playing guitar, backpacking or on the water!

Mia Steadman

Mia is a Tallahassee local who has always had a passion for staying active. She’s always loved creating content and anything that has to do with social media which makes her the perfect social media and marketing manager for us here at The Society. What’s your favorite part about The Society? I absolutely love how we are like one big family here. Everyone supports everyone no matter what. Having an off day? I can assure you you’ll walk out of here smiling. Not feeling motivated? It’s almost a given that your instructor will push you to feel the best you can. The Society is the most welcoming and non judgmental workout environment I have come across in a long time!

What is playing in your headphones right now? Anything country, old and new!

What’s your go to book? I don't have a go to book but I will read just about anything that is recommended to me.

What are you doing when you are not at work? I am a full time student so you can catch me on campus studying or in class. When I’m not drowning in school work on the weekends you can more than likely find me somewhere on 30A!
